Kathlyn E. Urdaz, COTA/L

Kathlyn is a bilingual Occupational Therapy Assistant licensed in the state of Florida and certified by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy. She is an active member of the Florida Occupational Therapy Association as well as the American Occupational Therapy Association. She actively seeks out continuing education courses that will expand her skill set and keep her up to date on the latest evidenced-based treatment techniques and strategies.

Originally from Pennsylvania, she and her family relocated to Central Florida in 2008. She received her Associate's Degree in occupational therapy from Daytona State College in May 2015 and began working with the pediatric population soon afterwards. She is currently pursuing her Bachelor's Degree in Health Education and Promotion at the University of Florida and plans to continue her education to earn her Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy.

Kathlyn is a passionate and dedicated therapist who is proactive about collaborating with families and other medical professionals to help her patients achieve their goals. She is a firm believer that teamwork and communication are the keys to success.

In addition to treating her patients, Kathlyn holds a role as Office Assistant at Orlando Children’s therapy where she assists the owner and office coordinator with business related duties and office tasks.

On a personal note, Kathlyn loves to read, sing, dance, and travel. She also enjoys spending quality time with her husband, two children, and English Bulldog. Kathlyn’s personal philosophy is to live well, laugh often, and love deeply.
